Tim successfully founded, managed, raised investment and sold the UK’s leading extreme sports gift experience agency with a turnover of over 2 million pounds. Ex Element was the first extreme sports focused gift experience in the UK and worked with over 500 activity providers offering over 1000 unique experiences from tandem skydive to shark
diving.
As Managing Director Tim was responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the company. With a team of over 15 staff Tim guided the company to record levels of turnover, was integral is raising funding and ultimately played a key role on its successful sale.
Tim has previously run a network of over 20 adventure sports travel sites that at its peak attracted over 2.4 million visitors a year. The main site adventuresportsholidays.com worked on a subscription-based model and created a database of over 25,000 activity providers and a 150,000 customer database that is now being used by Exploco today.
