Tim Beckman has been with CG Visions since the early days and has more than a decade of experience as a BIM professional. Starting as a student employee performing “panel edits” via Zip disks, Tim quickly established himself as an integral part of CG Visions. As a partner, he currently stays busy as the Director of Business Development, where he
has a proven track record of developing strategic technical partnerships and identifying how CG Visions’ products and services best fit into the industry. Tim’s knowledge and understanding of BIM technology and its significance to the construction industry, instills confidence with clients and develops high-performing teams.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University with a concentration in Construction Technology and a MBA from Butler University in Indianapolis. Tim also serves on the Computer Graphics Advisory Board for the College of Technology at Purdue University.
Outside of the office, Tim stays busy trying to keep up with his two young boys. He enjoys reliving his childhood with his sons, who are enamored by LEGO, STARWARS, camping, climbing trees and all things “boy.” His wife Emily “Never imagined coming home to blue balloons” but has enjoyed becoming well versed in knowing the “difference between a diesel streamliner and a diesel switcher.”
