Till started his entrepreneur activities more than ten years ago and co-founded PIRATE.global back in 2010. PIRATE.global connects startup ecosystems and organizes the PIRATE Summit (besides other events), which is often described as “Europe’s craziest startup conference”. PIRATE events are known for it’s authenticity, selection of the “right”
participants and their unusual conference venues, program design and parties. PIRATE.global organized more than 200 events around the globe, with more than 35.000 participants in total. In 2017 they acquired Startup SAFARI – an open-door event for Startup Ecosystems all over the World (e.g. Berlin, Budapest, Durban, Dubai, Miami, Sao Paulo etc.) and plan to roll-out at least 30 Startup SAFARIs in 2018 covering all continents.
Till is also the ambassador of the “Digital Economy NRW” (his home state in Germany) and member of the “European Digital Leaders” commission founded by the World Economic Forum.
