For more than 20 years, Thor Larson has served as a swimming coach in Nebraska and Missouri. He serves as head swim coach and manager for the iNspire Swim Team. Responsible for all financial and scheduling concerns relevant to the team, Thor Larson also develops the team's seasonal plans, creates strategies for each practice, and supports the
athletic development of swimmers aged 6 to 19.
In only four years, Thor Larson has expanded the team's numbers from 6 athletes to about 70. He brings his team to the Local Swimming Committee (LSC) short course championships each year and has driven consistent improvements in the team's standings. After being ranked 21st in 2015, the team moved up to 10th place in 2017 and 6th place in 2018.
Previously, Thor Larson served as president and head swim coach of Tsunami Swim Team of Kansas City and as co-head swim coach for the Kansas City Blazers Swim Team. He also stands out as former CEO and executive director of the YMCA of Grand Island.
