Thomas S. Willenborg is an entrepreneur, investor, and former CEO with extensive experience in fintech, payments, and scaling digital businesses. As CEO of Datatrans AG, he led the company through a high-growth phase, expanding its market position and driving its acquisition by Planet. He also spearheaded the development of PCI Proxy, transforming
it into a globally recognized fintech and compliance solution.
Currently, he focuses on investing in and advising startups, particularly in fintech, SaaS, and digital transformation. He is a Limited Partner at āltitude, a pan-European SME Tech VC fund, and an angel investor in 1-CP, a fintech innovating B2B payments.
Thomas holds degrees in International Finance & Accounting and International Business and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
