Thomas R. Stover, Vice President, Technology – Vehicle Group Eaton Corporation
In May 2002, Mr. Stover joined Eaton Corporation as Engineering Manager-Truck Technology, at the Eaton Innovation Center in Southfield, MI. In that role, he was responsible for leading the development and demonstration of advanced technologies, including hybrid
systems, advanced transmission concepts, emission control systems and powertrain systems integration.
In March, 2007, Mr. Stover was named Vice President – Technology for Eaton’s Truck Group, and currently has responsibility for technology, innovation and engineering excellence for Eaton Truck worldwide.
Between 1977 and 2002, Mr. Stover was employed by Cummins Engine Company. While at Cummins, his responsibilities included the development of new advanced turbo-machinery, development of engine performance and emissions control systems, and the design and development of new engine products. Mr. Stover became an SAE International member in 1992.
