Thomas Sandal joined Crescendo in 2012 to manage therapeutic projects from lead discovery to the clinic. Thomas has over 20 years’ biotechnology experience in CMC activities, product formatting, formulation and delivery, pharmacokinetics, production and toxicology. Most recently at Pieris he was responsible for production and characterisation of
anticalin products.
Previously at GSK and Domantis he managed preclinical development and GMP manufacture particularly for their most advanced pulmonary domain antibody project. Thomas was part of the team that founded CMC Biologics in Copenhagen and also held senior positions at Novozymes and Novo Nordisk.
Thomas has an MSc in Chemical Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark and a degree in Engineering Business Administration.
