Thomas E. Pardun has served as a member of our Board of Directors since July 2009. Since April 2007, Mr. Pardun has served as chairman of the board of directors of Western Digital Corporation, a post he had held previously from January 2000 to November 2001. He has served on the Western Digital board since 1993.
From May 1996 to July 2000, Mr.
Pardun served as president of MediaOne International, Asia-Pacific (formerly US West Asia-Pacific), an owner/operator of international properties in cable television, telephone services and wireless communications. From May 1993 to April 1996, he served as president and chief executive officer of US West Multimedia Communications, Inc., a communications company, and from June 1988 to April 1993 he held numerous other executive positions with US West, Inc.
From June 1986 to May 1988, Mr. Pardun was president of the Central Group for Sprint, Inc. as well as president of Sprint’s West Division. From September 1984 to May 1986 he also served as senior vice president of United Telecommunications, a predecessor company to Sprint. From June 1965 to August 1984, he held various positions at International Business Machines Corporation. In addition to Western Digital Corporation, Mr. Pardun also serves on the boards of CalAmp Corp. and Occam Networks, Inc.
Mr. Pardun received a B.B.A. in Economics and Marketing from the University of Iowa and Management School Certificates from Harvard Business School, Stanford University and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
