Thomas Klug is the Vice President of Global Customer Support for MAKO Surgical Corporation, a manufacturer of a Robotic Arm and Implant System used for a procedure called MAKOplasty® that provides a less invasive method for Partial Knee Replacement and Total Hip Arthroplasty.
In this role he has Strategic and P&L responsibility for all
facets of after sale support including; Customer Service Call Center & Order Administration, Technical Field & Factory Service, Intra-Operative Clinical Support & Pre-Operative Planning and the Company’s Customer Experience Management Program.
Klug has over 28 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining MAKO, he was with Carl Zeiss’ medical device division where he held positions from Field Engineer to Director of Field Services.
Klug is a graduate of Cayuga College where he majored in Electronics Engineering Technology. He earned a Certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University and is a member of the Society for Service Executives and Association for Support Professionals.
