Terry Kellog is the Managing Director of Helios Capital Ventures.Terry has worked and studied at the intersection of business and the environment for 30+ years. The central question animating Terry’s work is how to most efficiently and effectively channel resources toward addressing the problem of climate change. Terry’s pathway through the
non-profit, corporate environmental, and finance sectors is guided by an interest in finding and pulling hard on the biggest levers of change. That is why Helios has taken a keen interest in energy storage, the linchpin technology for both widespread adoptions of renewable energy and the electrification of the transportation sector. Terry was born in and feels fortunate to call Vermont home although he’s lived nearly half his life overseas and out of state. He has a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University. He serves on the Boards of several Helios portfolio companies and has had nonprofit Board roles with the Green Mountain Valley School, the Trust for Public Land, the Northern Forest Center, and more. Terry is passionate about all kinds of sports that mix endurance and adrenaline from back-country skiing to windsurfing and mountain biking.
