Mr.Terence E. Block, also known as Terry, has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Post Holdings Inc., since January 1, 2012. Mr. Block served as the President of Nestlé Purina Pet Food-North America at Nestle Purina PetCare Company until December 31, 2011. Mr. Block oversees the implementation of Post Holdings' strategic plan of
growing its most important brands, improving innovation, extending Post's valuable portfolio of brands into adjacent categories and continuing to grow Post's presence among Hispanic consumers. In his long and distinguished career, including 34 years at Purina, Mr. Block has acquired substantial operating and marketing experience in branded foods and consumer products. He served as Chief Operating Officer of North American Pet Foods of Ralston Purina Co. since June, 1999 and Executive Officer since March, 2000. Mr. Block served as Executive Vice President, Ralston Purina Pet Products and vice president of marketing, Dog Food. Mr. Block served as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Customer Development of Pet Products Group from 1996 to 1999; Vice President of Customer Development at Pet Products Group from 1993 to 1996; Vice President and Director of Human Resources, Grocery Products Division from 1992 to 1993; Vice President and Director of Marketing at Grocery Products Division from 1986 to 1992. Mr. Block joined the marketing group of the former Ralston Purina Company in 1977 as assistant product manager and subsequently held a number of increasingly important marketing positions, including product manager and group director. Prior to joining Ralston Purina Company, Mr. Block worked at Procter & Gamble and Pet Incorporated. He served as Chairman of the Pet Food Institute from 2006 to 2009. He has been a Director of Post Holdings, Inc., since February 2012. Mr. Block holds graduate degree from Earlham College and his M.B.A. from Washington University.
