Terence is the Co-Founder of U-Start, an accelerator for the students and alumni of Dublin City University; he was also Venture Manager for 3 years of the Propeller Venture Accelerator in Dublin for start-up companies.
Terence has valuable experience in product/industrial design; during his 2 years with Hood Associates he designed several
products for both large global corporations and local companies. With James Leckey Design in Belfast he designed equipment for kids with special needs. Previously with LED Group, Terence spent two years as New Product Development Manager and Lighting Design Consultant, the company also recorded its highest ever profits from new products during this time. He also was part of 2 start-up companies which were bought by LED Group. He has designed many products which have been patented and sold all over the world.
Within Academics, recently he has completed studying a Graduate Certificate (Masters equivalent) in Digital Marketing. In 2010 he completed a Master’s Degree in Business Management where he was awarded “Best Business Plan 2010” by Dublin City University. He also holds a Higher Degree in Product, Graphic and Interactive Design, a Batchers degree in Industrial Design and has completed the Access–C.A. Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering course.
