Temi Adebambo is a cybersecurity executive leader who currently holds the position of General Manager and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Gaming at one of the world’s most recognized technology companies, Microsoft. In this role, Temi oversees the protection of over 500 million monthly active players, ensuring robust security and

proactive risk management for an extensive portfolio that includes major gaming titles such as Xbox, Call of Duty, Halo, World of Warcraft, Candy Crush, Minecraft, Fallout, Diablo, Doom, and Indiana Jones. His leadership is instrumental in keeping players and gaming ecosystems secure amid an ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.

Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Temi has established a reputation as a dynamic leader in the fields of information technology and cybersecurity. His experience spans a wide array of industries, including technology, Gaming, life sciences, financial services, and consumer and industrial products, where he has consistently delivered enterprise-wide transformation programs from strategy through execution. Temi’s expertise lies in developing and implementing cloud security strategies, architecting secure systems, managing cyber risk, and ensuring compliance and governance for some of the world’s largest organizations.

Temi is recognized for his expertise in key security domains, including cloud and application security, identity and access management, data protection, privacy, threat detection, and incident response. He has a strong command of frameworks such as HITRUST, NIST, FedRAMP, and ITIL, and maintains fluency in major compliance standards, including PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. Holding multiple industry certifications across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, Temi’s technical acumen is matched by industry recognition, including consecutive wins of the CISO Connect Top 100 Accelerated CISOs Award in 2024 and 2025. He remains active as a thought leader, frequently speaking and writing about cybersecurity and participating as a featured speaker at industry events such as Black Hat MEA and the Transformational National CISO Assembly.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Temi’s formative years in a vibrant urban setting cultivated resilience, resourcefulness, and a deep appreciation for community. His early environment taught him to adapt to complexity and find innovative solutions even with limited resources. Temi’s move to the United States was a turning point, allowing him to access new educational and professional opportunities in technology and security, and broadening his global perspective on cybersecurity challenges.

Temi’s professional background includes key leadership roles at global companies. At Amazon Web Services, he served as Global Head of Security Solutions Architecture, leading teams in designing secure solutions for enterprise customers. During his tenure at Deloitte, he managed cloud security practices and oversaw the security architecture and operations for thousands of cloud workloads. His work at PwC involved conducting threat and vulnerability assessments, as well as SAP business process controls. He launched his career as a Microsoft Ambassador, promoting technical resources and engagement within developer communities.

Outside of his professional achievements, Temi Adebambo gives back as a board member for the National Cybersecurity Society and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Habitat for Humanity. He earned a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego. He completed executive education at Harvard Business School. His extensive certifications include Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, CCSP, CISSP, Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
