Dr. Teddy Yang joined RuiYi from Novartis Institute for BioMedical Research, where he was responsible for all antibody/protein generation and characterization, as well as managed outsourcing activities in China. Prior to NIBR, Dr. Yang was leading the efforts in the generation of agonist antibodies for cancer immunotherapy in Genentech Inc.
Before his career in biotech industry, Dr. Yang did his postdoctoral research on signal transduction and transcriptional regulation in the area of diabetes and inflammatory diseases in Albert Einstein College of Medicine and UT Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Yang received his Ph.D degree in pharmacology from the University of Hong Kong.
