Ted Dutter was 14 years old when he was given his first computer, an Apple II Plus that had 48k of memory and a cassette tape to load programs. He has been an avid techie ever since. His first job was selling computers at Lechmere in Framingham, MA. He worked his way through college working with in the tech support departments of a variety of
companies. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bryant College (now Bryant University), he started working full time in the information technology department at the Middlesex News. It is here that he met his future business partner, Emily Greenwood. After leaving the newspaper, Emily and Ted started EKG Networking, Inc, supporting the needs of local small businesses and non-profits for over 22 years.
