Taylor has been working in the financial world since graduating from Davidson College in North Carolina, where he finished with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a minor in Economics. He began his career at Citigroup Smith Barney, where he worked in Mutual Funds and Annuity Sales as part of the company’s Global Wealth Management division. He
then joined Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher, a leading corporate communications firm with a focus on special situations and crisis, particularly mergers & acquisitions, proxy fights and bankruptcies as well as ongoing investor and public relations. Taylor has helped develop and implement comprehensive communications plans accounting for over $100 billion in successful transactions and defense strategies for use against high profile shareholder activism. Taylor has been an avid fisherman since he could first walk, and recently launched Tightlined.com, a one-stop network for anglers everywhere.
