Taoran Sun is the Chairman and President of Lakala Payment Co. Ltd, a company providing e-business services.
Sun was instrumental in establishing six well knowns enterprises in six different sectors, each of which went on to be industry leaders. He is the author of the bestselling book “The 36 Rules in Starting a Business”.
In 2005 Sun
launched the Beijing Lakala Network Technology Co., Ltd. in cooperation with renowned entrepreneur Lei Jun. Sun has serves as Chairman and President of Lakala since 2005. In 1996 Sun founded Blue-Focus PR Consulting and continues to serve as a Director of the company.
Sun has won multiple distinctions, including Excellent Corporate Leader at the Micro Innovation Summit Forum, Future Stars - Hero Grassroots Entrepreneurs’ Path by China Entrepreneur magazine, EC100 China E-Commerce People of the Year 2011, and China Information Industry Innovative People of the Year 2011.
Sun graduated from Peking University in 1991. He is now a guest mentor for the EMBA program at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University.
He is also the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurs’ Club of Peking University, co-chair of the Founders Club’s First Council, Director of GEM Board Chairmen Club’s Launch Council and member of the Beijing Youth Federation.
