A Creative Director and branding expert with over 18 years of experience in the field of high-technology, Sylvain is Chief Brand Officer and a founding member of Kwilt™ Inc. where he focuses on implementing his vision to build, promote and market advanced consumer mobile applications.
Prior to Kwilt, Sylvain was Creative Director at Axentra
Corporation (2005 to 2012), allowing him to gain a solid experience in desktop, web and mobile interface and UX design.
From 1997 to 2004, Sylvain was Artistic Director at Hemera Technologies Inc., a leading digital image content provider, developing, creating and managing multiple brands like the popular Photo-Objects, Big Box of Art (the largest clipart collection in the world) and AbleStock (the first professional stock photography subscription web site) among other digital asset properties. Those brands were targeting different audiences from mass consumers to creative professionals and were available worldwide through retail, web and OEM channels.
From 1997 to 2008, Sylvain was the owner of Pacifika Design, an independent design practice. There he developed a wide range of skills from managing assets, building creative teams and implementing innovative communication and management strategies to a diversity of clients.
A Marketing and communications graduate (HEC of Montreal, Montreal, Canada), Sylvain also holds a Bachelor degree in Graphic design with Honours (Université du Québec en Outaouais, Gatineau, Canada).
