Sumukh Ray obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of California, Santa Barbara. After his graduation he joined Mannkind Corp. where he occupied multiple positions in the mass spectroscopy, chromatography, peptide chemistry, and analytical development. He was part of the team bringing Inhalable Insulin to the market.
In
2006 he joined Bachem Americas, Torrance site in the analytical development department. His focus in the following years was the implementation of all the different Mass Spectroscopy techniques for Bachem in Torrance for all API development projects. He now occupies the position of manager of Method Development Group, where he supervises a team of scientists focusing in Mass Spectroscopy and HPLC/UPLC method development.
