culture. Before leading Agora, he served as Schlumberger's RGG Marketing and Technology Director in Paris, France. His leadership roles with the company have taken him to more than 70 countries, and counting. As Vice President of Schlumberger's Drilling Group, he oversaw the integration of drilling segments, driving growth in the Malaysian market. Following the split in the EAG geomarket, Sujit was instrumental in shaping a new strategy for aligning the company's activity with national services organizations. The global oil and gas leader has also served as Schlumberger's Vice President of Europe, Caspian and Africa, where he grew the largest SIS business, with special focus on Africa, and has held numerous operations and business positions since beginning his career two decades ago as a reservoir engineer. A seasoned leader with a global mindset, Sujit holds both a masters and bachelors degree in petroleum engineering from the Indian School of the Mines and a mini-Master of Business Administration in Oil and Gas from the UK's CWC School of Energy. Sujit has also completed the Strategic Finance Program from IMD in Switzerland. A member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers for more than 20 years, Sujit is also a University Ambassador of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He has been featured as a speaker at events including the 35th Oxford Energy Seminar and CERAWeek 2019, and has authored academic papers on reservoir simulations and the role of modeling in improving well placement. When not working, he's likely to be found traveling, playing sports and spending time with his wife and two sons.
