Stuart is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at S. W. Mitchell Capital, as well as the Investment Manager of the SWMC European Fund and many managed accounts.
Stuart was a Principal, Director, and Head of Specialist Equities at J O Hambro Investment Management until starting SWMC in 2005. (JOHIM, now Waverton Investment Management).
He established and managed the Charlemagne Fund, a long/short European fund, as well as the JOHIM European Fund, a long-only European fund, at JOHIM. From its debut in December 1998 to March 2005, the JOHIM European Fund increased by 133%, compared to 8% for the benchmark index.
