Stuart is the lead partner in our Brisbane office and has over 27 years’ local and international experience working in Australia and the Asia region. He also leads ShineWing Australia’s Energy and Resources National Industry Group
Stuart has extensive experience advising multinationals and Australia’s largest listed corporations on global and
regional tax planning, in addition to investment planning, tax and business issues affecting businesses operating in Australia, with a particular focus on the mining sector. He also has extensive experience in due diligence assignments and mergers and acquisitions in the sector.
Working and living in Asia for over 13 year from 1994 to 2007, Stuart has successfully completed engagements and built networks in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and also in Russia, and has a deep understanding of both Australian and Asian business culture from this time.
