Stu Carnes is a New York based Creative Director and Entrepreneur. With eighteen years of experience, he is broadly skilled in eCommerce, Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) Marketing, Art Direction and Copywriting and has built, scaled and managed large creative teams. He is described by his fellow creatives as a uniquely insightful, curious, flexible,
empathetic and accountable leader with an acute intuition for human behavior. From emerging technology, retail, consumer packaged goods to luxury, Stu has a proven track record for understanding how to create brand relevance for consumers in natural, engaging and authentic ways.
Stu derives much of his perspective from his time spent sailing. An avid mariner, he’s credited the lessons he’s learned on the water as being most relevant to his life on land. In addition to his time spent as a Creative Director, Stu’s passion for boating lead him to build and launch SKWOL™, a direct-to-consumer marine care company that offers professional grade cleaners and protective coatings to boat owners across the United States.
