While
still in his 20s, Stuart demonstrated his aptitude for spotting a business opportunity when he established his first oil and gas service company in Azerbaijan. By 2005, he had grown the business into an international player and successfully secured its acquisition by a leading global energy PLC.
This experience honed Stuart’s leadership skills and lit his enthusiasm for technology businesses, which he continues to invest in and lead to this day, mainly in non-executive and board roles. Stuart remains firmly convinced that technology holds the keys to transformational change in the energy sector.
