Steve McIntyre heads up the peptide chemistry process development group at Almac with responsibility for process development and cGMP manufacture of peptides for all phases of clinical development. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1992, initially in small molecule process development before switching to peptide chemistry
approximately 6 years ago. As part of his current role, he has been responsible for the manufacture of long peptides, peptide conjugates and peptide cocktails. He holds a degree in chemistry from the University of Glasgow and a PhD from the University of Basel.
