Steven is a Senior Investment Manager with Qualcomm Ventures in our Beijing office. He is also responsible for Business Development for Qualcomm Research in China. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Steven worked for AutoNavi as VP of Investments & Strategy. He also worked for Tyco Electronics, Applied Materials and Philips in their Strategy &
Business Development teams in the U.S. and China headquarters, focusing on strategy planning, new business development, and M&A. Steven worked for McKinsey & Company as a member of its High-tech practice and Semiconductor Practice, helping MNC and Chinese clients building growth strategy and execution plan, as well as capital/R&D investment strategies. Steven started his career with Motorola Semiconductors as a process/quality engineer.
Steven has a keen interest around mobile health, cloud computing, social network and other enablement technologies. Steven has an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Bsc. in Microelectronics from Nankai University.
