Steve Steve is a 25+ year veteran of the technology industry, having built, scaled and exited numerous startups along the way. After playing hockey for Canada’s National Team, Steve started his formal career at Apple, where he led the marketing team that launched the original iPhone onto the African continent. From there he worked led the European
expert services team for Kantar Worldpanel UK, helping to build, position and launch major FMCG product lines for the likes of Unilever, P&G, and other global manufacturers. Despite not knowing what a PMS, OTA or RevPar was when he started as the CEO of Operto Guest Technologies, Steve still managed to drive 400% YoY growth and a $12m USD A-Round raise, within his first 12-months at the helm. Most recently, Steve’s entrepreneurial passion, technology, and scaling expertise landed him in the prestigious VRTech “Top 20 Most Influential People in Vacation Rental Technology” for 2021.
