Steve has 42 years of experience in the actuarial profession. He started his career as an actuarial student with Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1972 and joined Lewis & Ellis in 1984. Steve has utilized his diverse actuarial experience on behalf of employers, life and health insurers, local governments, auditors, and state and federal
agencies.
Steve is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (1981), a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (1998), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (1979), and an Enrolled Actuary (1980). When not serving his clients, Steve is an active volunteer and enjoys pursuing his passion for fine art and portrait photography. Steve has been happily married for the past 43 years. He and his wife have three adult children and one grandchild (so far!).
