Steven Brunasso studied Biochemistry at CSUF and started in laboratory quality assurance that led into data acquisition automation systems with Elan Pharma. He formed a software engineering firm and developed custom solutions for Pharmaceuticals, Education, Publishing and Banking.
He developed embedded platforms for bank ATM machines worldwide.
He was a contract CEO that modernized industrial sensor products from 4-20mA to integrated IP and Internet technologies into the sensor platforms in early 2000. Security was built into the embedded platforms and led to his involvement into security for banking, entertainment, utilities and healthcare. He has focused on utility systems security for the past decade as the information security manager at Southern California Edison for the initial NERC CIP rollouts and is currently managing security in the operations technology group at one of the most innovative California Water and Power Utilities.
He has an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles specializing in technology strategy.
