Steve Rosengarten focuses on European buyout opportunities in the telecommunications and industrial sectors and is based in London. Mr. Rosengarten is a board member of Casema N.V., the third largest cable operator in the Netherlands and represents Carlyle on the board of Bredbandsbolaget AB, Sweden’s largest non-incumbent broadband provider. Prior
to joining Carlyle, Mr. Rosengarten was a member of the Media Team at Lazard Freres in New York. Prior to that, he practiced M&Amp;Amp;A and securities law at Chadbourne & Parke as an attorney in New York. Mr. Rosengarten received his LL.M. at Harvard Law School and his LL.B. at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Mr. Rosengarten will relocate to Carlyle’s Paris office in March 2005.
