Steve Rigby serves as the Co-CEO of Rigby Group, a leading family-owned multinational conglomerate. Alongside his brother James, who leads SCC, the Group's cornerstone IT services business, Steve is instrumental in the company's operations. As the second-generation leader of the Rigby family business, founded by Sir Peter Rigby in 1975,
Steve has overseen its expansion into a powerhouse with over 9,000 employees and annual turnover of nearly £4bn ($5bn). Rigby Group operates through three main divisions: SCC, one of Europe's largest privately-owned IT services firms; Rigby Technology Investments, which manages various technology investments; and a diverse real estate portfolio that includes commercial, residential, hospitality, and airport assets. Steve directs the Group’s strategy, finance, and investments across both private and public markets. He also serves on the boards of several key subsidiaries, including SCC, Rigby Technology Investments, Regional & City Airports, Rigby Real Estate, Rigby Hotels, Nuvias Unified Communications, Infinigate and CloudClevr. In addition to his leadership role, Steve has founded significant ventures like Rigby & Rigby, London's premier luxury property developer, and has successfully built and sold major technology companies, Nuvias and Fluidone. Over the past decade, he has led asset sales worth £500m for the family. As Chair of the Rigby Foundation, he ensures the Group's success supports and gives back to the West Midlands community where the business was built. Additionally, he is involved with Family Business UK, the Entrepreneurs Network, the Wall Street Journal CEO Council, and the World Superyacht Awards as a judge. In 2022, Steve was honoured as "Leader of the Year" by the International Business Awards, UK Brilliance Awards, and UK Business Awards, following his recognition as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 2021.
