As Chief Product Officer (CPO), Steve Quane is responsible for the strategy, business profitability, and global operations of Trend Micro’s Commercial Business Unit as well as the overall alignment of the company’s product and service direction.
Steve has been with Trend Micro since 2001 and prior to his role as CPO, served as VP of Corporate
Marketing from Taipei, Taiwan and General Manager of the Small and Medium (SMB) Business Unit from Munich, Germany.
His prior teams’ initiatives include the introduction of Trend Micro’s Enterprise Protection Strategy and creation of the Worry-Free product and service lines.
Prior to joining Trend Micro, Quane held product management and business development roles at Intel Corporation and supported air combat operations as a Battle Director for the US Air Force.
Quane holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
