Stephen Laipply, Director, is a product strategist for BlackRock's Model-Based Fixed Income Portfolio Management Group. Stephen Laipply focuses primarily on the iShares (ETF) and Index Fixed Income product suite.
Stephen Laipply's service with the firm dates back to 2009, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which
merged with BlackRock in 2009. At BGI, he was a senior investment strategist on the US Fixed Income Investment Solutions team, responsible for developing and delivering fixed income solutions to clients. Prior to joining BGI, he was a senior member in both of the Strategic Solutions and Interest Rate Structuring Groups at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he structured and marketed fixed income solutions across interest rates, credit and mortgages to institutional investors.
Stephen Laipply earned a BS degree, with honors, in finance from Miami University, and an MBA in finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
