Steve Gerisch graduated with a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Oakland University in Rochester Michigan.
He started in the tech industry with Texas Instruments, Control Data, and Okidata and was responsible for increasing amounts of revenue and geography. He became familiar with printers, disk drives, modems and displays at these companies.
In 1997 he joined a division of Hitachi, where he was responsible for growing revenue for larger screen, high resolution monitors and grew them at a very fast pace. In 2000 he joined the Hitachi LCD group, where he formed a group incorporating Sales, Eng, QA, and Customer Service that was responsible for LCD support of all the major notebook PC manufacturers world wide.
In 2006 he joined IDW, as VP WW sales; after IDW being acquired by Flextronics, he held various positions as a VP with the Display group.
