Steve Fermi has over 25 years of experience running clinical trials for innovative medical device companies.
Prior to joining PneumRx in 2013, he was the Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for BaroSense, Inc. Mr. Fermi was also the Executive Director of Clinical Affairs at Asthmatx, Inc., directing the studies that lead to PMA
approval for the AlairTM Bronchial Thermoplasty System. He has also held senior level clinical affairs positions at companies working in the areas of diabetes, ophthalmology, respiratory therapy, and cancer.
He holds a BA degree in biology from Ball State University, Muncie, IN, an MA in biology from San Francisco State University, and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
