Stephen Powers, MSc., Radiance chief electrical engineer, is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall end-to-end electronics engineering initiatives of the Company. Powers' career spans over a decade in electrical engineering for numerous Fortune 100 & Fortune 500 companies in senior electrical engineering leadership positions,
most notably with Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, GE Aviation, and Grid Sentry. Powers enjoys the creative thinking process to engineering and implements a novel approach.
Powers is highly experienced and well-versed in embedded circuit and software design, analog circuit design, programmable logic controller system and software design, electronic circuit design and testing, project management (contractor selection/directing, schedule updates, financial tracking). Powers has extensive experience sourcing materials through external vendors, and large equipment selection/sourcing/installation.
Powers received his Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wright State University in 2012 and graduated a year early. He also received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wright State University in 2010.
