Stephen Lindsey has been involved in numerous recreational sports programs. He started the WAKA Kickball franchise in New Orleans, LA and it has grown into the largest WAKA kickball franchise in the country. The franchise was later sold by WAKA Kickball to an outside investor.
He also worked for WAKA Kickball in Washington DC, becoming a Senior
Representative and managing league representatives in both the Washington DC, and Norfolk, VA markets. Dissatisfied with the current recreational sports league offerings in the New Orleans area,
Mr. Lindsey started Southern Sports Leagues in 2012. SSL quickly grew to over 2,000 players in 6 sports in it's first year.
