Mr. O’Meara is a Senior Managing Director in the private equity business unit at Ziegler, a specialty investment bank focused on healthcare. He previously served as General Counsel of Ziegler from 1993 until 2006, during which he managed the legal, compliance, and risk management functions of the firm.
Beginning in 2005, he was instrumental in
forming two venture capital funds, Ziegler Meditech Equity Partners, a joint venture between Ziegler and Meditech Advisors Management which focuses on new medical device technology, and Ziegler HealthVest Partners, which invests in companies in healthcare services and information technology.
He currently serves as a director of Certify Data Systems, Masterpiece Living, LLC, Medmarketplace, and Ridgestone Financial Services.
