Stephen Alexander started his career at Imperial Group before moving to Allied Domecq, where he was Chairman of Lyons Tetley, and then Chief Executive of the Food Division, before becoming Chief executive of the Retailing Division and a Director of this FTSE 50 plc. His responsibilities included 4,500 pubs in the UK and the international
franchising businesses Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins generating sales in excess of £2 billion.
Stephen has chaired a number of consumer businesses including the international music company EMI, where an operational turnaround resulted in a trebling of profits in just three years, as well as Odeon Cinemas and Meridien Hotels. In addition to chairing Immediate, Stephen is currently Chairman of Dairy Crest Group plc, Rhubarb Food Design Ltd and Look Ahead Care and Support. He is also an Operating Partner at OpCapita LLP.
