Following study at York University (Toronto, Canada) taking a Political Science and Bachelor of Arts Program, Stan worked with Philipp Brothers, a physical commodities trading firm, from 1978 – 1989 rising from the traffic department to become President of Philipp Brothers Canada Ltd in 1986. He was an active trader with the company specializing in
new commodity introduction to Canada and opening new accounts. Due to restructuring and the global closure of Philipp Brothers in 1989, Stan moved on to Intermetco, a publicly-traded Canadian company specializing in the recycling of metals, where he was Senior Vice President. In 2000 he joined Nitritex where he has overseen the development of the North American business focusing on cleanroom supply, adding various markets to the Canada and USA presence. Stan is on the Board of Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association (Ontario Division).
