Sophie Capleton is Director of Communications at Unicef UK, the world’s leading children’s organisation. Previous to this she headed up the national media team at Comic Relief, leading Red Nose Day and Sport Relief media campaigns for over 10 years.
Sophie’s current role oversees the media, digital, brand, creative content and ambassador relations
teams at Unicef UK. During her time at Unicef UK, she has worked across several sector leading initiatives including Unicef’s Family Reunification campaign, and Soccer Aid for Unicef – ITV’s flagship charity event which has raised over £24m to date.
