Sonja is a passionate business developer and marketer with a longstanding career in SME’s, multinationals and start-ups, including in the drone industry and for digital transformation initiatives.
She divides her time between helping companies in facilitating innovation using digital technologies and design thinking methods and her work as a
Co-Founder of WeRobotics, a US/Swiss based NGO that strives to create a future where local communities in developing and at-risk countries can use robotics for social good.
WeRobotics is building a global network of local labs where people accelerate and scale the impact of their humanitarian aid, global development and environmental protection efforts using appropriate robotics solutions. Robots, such as drones, allow to collect massive amounts of data and radically transform multiple industries through rapid and dramatic gains in efficiency and productivity. We want to create the same impact in a responsible and meaningful way by building local capacity and incubating new Robotics-as-a-Service businesses in developing countries.
Sonja holds degrees both in Marketing and SME Management.
