Sohrab Emami Co-Founded SiBEAM, Inc. in 2004 and has been its Chief Architect since July 2005. Mr. Emami has focused his last 5 years of research and development at the Berkeley Wireless Research Center (BWRC) on the design and modeling of CMOS transceiver circuits for high data rate wireless applications. Prior to his work at the BWRC, Mr. Emami
was co-founder of another startup company, KARA-Systems, Inc. Mr. Emami was awarded the Jack Raper Award for Outstanding Technology Directions Paper at ISSCC 2004. Mr. Emami was also awarded the Hitachi-UC Berkeley Management of Technology Fellowship in 2003. Mr. Emami received an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
