Sobhi Basheer, Ph.D. serves as Technological Scientific Advisor at High Tech Lipids Ltd. Dr. Basheer is a Senior Researcher at Israel's Galilee Society Research & Development Center, which is affiliated with the University of Haifa and supported by Ministry of Science and Arts. He was also recently appointed as a Member of Israel's
Ministry of Industry and Trade Biotechnology Review Committee. Previously, he was the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Enzymotec Ltd., a biotechnology company that develops and produces biofunctional ingredients to address various health needs. Dr. Basheer obtained his DSc. in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Zurich, Switzerland (ETH-Z). His post-doctoral work includes a fellowship at the National Food Research Institute in Tsukuba, Japan and a two-year term on the faculty of Food Engineering and Biotechnology at the Technion.
