Smita started her open source journey with phpMyAdmin from December, 2013 and took part in Google Summer of Code 2014. Most of her contributions are in bug fixes and a few feature implementations.
She worked on automated normalization and the central list of columns as part of GSoC project. As part of phpMyAdmin team, she would like to focus
mostly on server-side bug fixing and developments.She lives in India.
