Mr. Skip P. Maner is a General Partner of NewSpring Capital and NewSpring Holdings L.P. Mr. Maner served as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Principal of Inverness Graham Investments. He joined Inverness Graham Investments in 2002 and along with the other Managing Principals, shared responsibility for all major operational functions of the
firm, including investment sourcing, structuring, negotiating, divesting and working with portfolio companies. He was Managing Principal at Inverness Capital Partners I, L.P. He served as Managing Director of Spyglass Partners. He was a Managing Director of Internet Capital Group. Mr. Maner was a Senior Associate at TL Ventures and Safeguard Scientifics. Prior to becoming a venture investor, Mr. Maner was an entrepreneur and has served as the President and the Founder of two companies including a recycled products manufacturer. He served as the Managing Director of ICG Group, Inc. Mr. Maner serves on the Board of Directors of Pelion Systems, SmartFlow Technologies, Inc., DemandPoint, Inc. and SkyBitz Inc. Mr. Maner also serves on the Board of Directors of University of Richmond's President's Council, Youth Empowerment Services, Metropolitan Career Center, two Philadelphia-based non-profit organizations, and Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance. He served as Director of Axxis, Inc., iSKY, Inc., Masterpack International, Inc., ICCNexergy, Inc. and Investor Force, Inc. He has served on non-profit boards throughout the Philadelphia region. Mr. Maner received an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. degree in History from the University of Richmond.
