I never back down from a technical challenge. I started programming aged 10 and has since held all AWS professional certifications, as well as being a Confluent certified developer. At the start of my career, I spent 10 years as a Java / Scala developer, then moved into distributed software development. I have a highly commercial background,
too, founding a FinTech startup in 2013 and guided it to an undisclosed exit. Alongside this, I have consulted for Adidas, WorldPay, BNP Paribas and HSBC.
I have a passion for solving complex problems and gets huge satisfaction from being the first to overcome a challenge. In my free time, I build huge Lego models, keep up to date with crypto news (a Bitcoin owner since 2012) and also finds time to saddle up on my bike most days!
