From launching her own lucrative businesses to strategizing with founders to successfully bring software applications to market, Simone brings a unique skill set to the table. She
started her entrepreneurial journey 20 years ago by building sales teams for recruitment companies in the technology sector. Within years she founded her own recruitment firm(s) competing with the larger recruitment houses. True to her passion for wellness Simone pursued a career with a SaaS start-up which provided corporate wellness programs. She made her mark by being the top agent out of 1500 with a team of no less than 50 staff. During this time, she complimented her professional pursuits with a Yoga teacher trainer certificate, a personal trainer licence and Hip-Hop certifications. In addition, she completed several navigation courses in pursuit of a marine career. Simone continues to teach Yoga and currently captains for local private yacht owners. In 2005 Simone moved to Costa Rica and founded Own Costa Rica Property which became the top boutique brokerage house in the province. In tandem, she continued to pursue her wellness career with a company called Live Costa Rica Fitness which maintained a staff of full-time fitness instructors to meet the demand for classes. Still in operation is Casa de Bienestar meaning “house of wellness”, which continues to be the best boutique wellness retreat in the area. By 2012 Simone returned to Canada and settled in Vancouver where she became the top-ranking sales leader for a SaaS platform created for the charity industry. Seeking a bigger challenge, she began to work for a managed services and custom software company who wanted to expand. She quickly became the top producer successful launching the Vancouver office and securing new logos in record time. Finally returning to her home in Toronto, Simone once again pursued her passion for disruptive technologies. Recent experience includes; Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality, AI and IoT. Her most recent clients have developed VR applications for the building industry, VR therapy applications, AR marketing applications and a myriad of Mixed Reality for healthcare and education. Consistently Simone has proven her abilities to create the “roadmap to success” for start-up organizations seeking rapid market penetration.
