Simon spent his early professional years in commercial legal practice at two of the world’s largest global law firms working both in Australia and Italy practicing in banking and finance, securitisations, capital markets, property finance, commercial property, commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Escrow Angel is the brain child
of Simon who, after seeing a close friend lose a significant sum of money that could have been prevented by using an online escrow service, decided to launch an Australian online escrow service.
Simon identified the online escrow service opportunity in Australia in 2008 and has worked passionately to bring Escrow Angel into existence. His legal expertise and experience is critical to the credibility of the Escrow Angel’s service. His background in commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution was a valuable asset in the development of Escrow Angel’s dispute resolution model.
Simon is passionate about pro bono and community service. Throughout his legal career, he was heavily involved in pro bono work for the Homeless Persons’ Legal Service, Youth Off The Streets and other legal pro bono initiatives.
