Simon joined Amadeus in 2001, became a partner in 2006, and joined the firm's investment committee shortly thereafter. In 2011 Simon co-founded The Ink Factory, an innovative film, television and digital media production company based in London and LA, and transitioned to a venture partner role with Amadeus. He works with Hermann Hauser on
Intune Networks and several other Amadeus portfolio companies. He continues to source and evaluate new investment opportunities for Amadeus.
Simon's successes with Amadeus include Transmode Holdings (Nasdaq OMX: TRMO), Liquavista (sold to Samsung in 2010) and Xelerated (sold to Marvell in 2011). Prior to joining Amadeus, Simon was founding CEO of Two Way TV, a digital TV entertainment and technology company, and before that he worked at the Boston Consulting Group and at the Granada Group.
Simon holds an MA in Public and Private Sector Management from the Yale School of Management, and an MA in Modern Languages from Oxford University. He is fluent in Thai and speaks French and German competently.
